The numbers of asymptomatic patients in Pakistan are increasing

According to researchers, the number of asymptomatic patients in Pakistan is increasing gradually as compared to any developed country. The research conducted by the researchers of Aga Khan University reveals that 9 out of 10 patients infected by a coronavirus in Karachi, Pakistan found no symptoms of the disease. The study is based on more than 2000 patients and completed two phases.  Karachi is considered as the hub of COVID-19 cases as it reported most cases in Pakistan. The study also focused on the high and low rates transferal of the virus in April and June 2020 within the different parts of the city.  The Researcher of the Aga Khan University found that about 95% of COVID-19 patients who had positive test results and the traces of antibodies found in them were asymptomatic, as the main symptoms of the disease such as cough, fever, sore throat not reported.
